Meet Our Staff

Mrs. Stephanie Medina
-Teacher & Owner-

Picture
My name is Stephanie Medina! I am the owner and one of the teachers at Little Treasures. Teaching is my passion and what I have always strived to do while growing up. Through hard work and dedication, I have created Little Treasures, so that children can love learning and grow in a safe, nurturing environment. My entire life, I have watched my aunt and grandmother go above and beyond for their students as educators in their own classrooms.

It is my dream, to help all of my students reach their full potential and dream big in life. Everyone deserves to have the opportunity to learn new things and enjoy life. The students here will learn to love, respect and treat everyone around them with kindness and acceptance. I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I taught Kindergarten, preschool and 4th grade for 9 years prior to opening Little Treasures. I am also a mother and understand how important your little one is to you. I will always encourage, teach and provide children with the opportunity to be the best they can be. I am genuinely excited to be teaching your child this year and can’t wait to get to know you as well. I enjoy traveling the world, ballroom/Latin dancing, crafts and spending time with my family.

I am very excited to get the chance to learn and grow with your kids here at Little Treasures! My name is Elizabeth Blackmer, and I have been working with kids since I entered the workforce at 16 years old. Being able to work with kids and to teach them valuable life skills is my greatest passion. Outside of teaching, I am also a cheerleading coach for all ages, ranging from 3 to 18. I am very blessed to have two jobs that I love. I come from a large family and have three little dogs to keep my house nice and lively at all times! I cannot wait to watch your children grow here at Little Treasures and learn all about your families as well!

When Miss Maria found out she had a little treasure on the way, she decided she wanted to work with kids and share her love of teaching and learning with young minds at Little Treasures as an assistant teacher.
