Meet Our Staff
My name is Stephanie Medina and I am the Owner and lead teacher at Little Treasures Early Childhood Center. Teaching is my passion and what I have always strived to do while growing up. Through hard work and dedication, I have created Little Treasures so that children can love learning and grow in a safe, nurturing environment. I want all of my students to reach their full potential and dream big. Everyone deserves to have the opportunity to learn new things. The students here will learn to love, respect and treat everyone around them with kindness. I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I taught Kindergarten and 4th grade for 8 years prior to opening Little Treasures. I am also a mother and understand how important your little one is to you. I have dedicated my life to encourage, teach and provide children the opportunity to be the best they can be. I am genuinely excited to be teaching your child this year and can’t wait to get to know you as well.
Ms. Kelly Ptak
I am very happy to be assisting in the care and education of your children. I am the mother of 3 children myself (ages 10, 17 & 22). I had previously worked within the Huron valley School Districts school Age Care program and the Waterford School District (K-5) for 4+ years while homeschooling my younger children through their middle and elementary years. I was a resident of Milford for 17 years and now reside in Waterford.
I obtain multiple certificates throughout each year in various areas of child development through both state and local programs. My passion is working with children and helping them obtain their full potential. I look forward to watching your children grow here at Little Treasures.
Ms. Elizabeth Blakmer
I am very excited to get the chance to learn and grow with your kids here at Little Treasures! My name is Elizabeth Blackmer, and I have been working with kids since I entered the workforce at 16 years old. Being able to work with kids and to teach them valuable life skills is my greatest passion. Outside of teaching, I am also a cheerleading coach for all ages, ranging from 3 to 18. I am very blessed to have two jobs that I love. I come from a large family and have three little dogs to keep my house nice and lively at all times! I cannot wait to watch your children grow here at Little Treasures and learn all about your families as well!
Ms. Jessica Nagle
