Stephanie Medina

​My name is Stephanie Medina! I am the owner and one of the teachers at Little Treasures. Teaching is my passion and what I have always strived to do while growing up. Through hard work and dedication, I have created Little Treasures, so that children can love learning and grow in a safe, nurturing environment. My entire life, I have watched my aunt and grandmother go above and beyond for their students as educators in their own classrooms. It is my dream, to help all of my students reach their full potential and dream big in life. Everyone deserves to have the opportunity to learn new things and enjoy life.
 
The students here will learn to love, respect and treat everyone around them with kindness and acceptance. I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I taught Kindergarten, preschool and 4th grade for 9 years prior to opening Little Treasures. I am also a mother and understand how important your little one is to you. I will always encourage, teach and provide children with the opportunity to be the best they can be. I am genuinely excited to be teaching your child this year and can’t wait to get to know you as well. I enjoy traveling the world, ballroom/Latin dancing, crafts and spending time with my family.

Hello! My name is Jessica. I have been working in early childhood education since 2014. I’ve taught every age range of children. However, I found my passion working to help families fall in love with Little Treasures and ensure they have the best quality care possible! I can't wait to welcome you and your little to the little treasures family and help your children thrive, grow and learn. I have my Child Development Associate credential in infant and toddlers and I just recently graduated with my associates in early childhood education at Henry Ford College. 
​My name is Breah, and  I bring not only my professional expertise but also a deep love and nurturing spirit to our center. With a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, I use my knowledge to create a thoughtfully designed approach that sparks curiosity and a love for learning in our young minds. As a parent of two wonderful children, I understand the joys and challenges of early childhood firsthand. This personal experience enriches my approach, ensuring that each child at Little Treasures feels valued, supported, and cherished. My passion for art and painting is a cornerstone of my approach to teaching, inspiring creativity and self-expression in our little ones.
At Little Treasures, my goal is to provide a warm, loving, and stimulating environment where every child can flourish and feel truly at home.

I believe in creating an inclusive environment where all students feel valued and supported. I love incorporating technology and real-world examples into my lessons to ensure they are engaging and relevant. I can't wait to embark on this learning journey with you and help you reach your full potential!

​Hi there! I'm Ms. Kennedy, one of the floater teachers at Little Treasures. I am here to support and nurture your little ones as they grow, learn, and explore. I believe in creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can freely express themselves and develop essential skills. Angelica DeJesus

My name is Angelica. I am so happy to be working with and caring for your children! I have been caring for children since the age of 15 and it has become a huge part of my life. Working with children is my passion and I am thrilled to be with them everyday and watch them grow!  I am currently working towards earning my Child Development Associate Credential in infants and toddlers and hope to further my education in Early Childhood Development.

​Hello! I'm Mr. Justin, and I am thrilled to be your teacher this year. With a genuine love for education and a passion for inspiring young minds, I am dedicated to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for all my students. I believe in the power of fostering curiosity and critical thinking skills, as well as promoting creativity and inclusivity in the classroom. Outside of Little Treasures, I am a part-time firefighter and studying to become a paramedic. I am so excited to get to help your little ones learn and grow this year!

​Hi, my name is Shelia Montanez and I am so happy to be a part of the teaching staff here at Little Treasures! I have been lucky enough to work at both locations and I am so happy to be permanently placed in the toddler room at our Airport location. Working with children is truly a passion of mine, and I am so grateful to have my third child on the way. I am excited to continue my journey in childcare with your children, and play a vital role in your little kiddos life!

​Hi, my name is Miss Laura. I am currently in my junior year of high school and am currently getting a degree in early childhood education from Oakland Community College, in hopes of working with all children in the future! I love teaching kids, especially in the toddler and infant age group. Although I have gotten the opportunity to work with all age groups! I have two older siblings and three Guinea pigs.
