Our Owner
Stephanie Medina
My name is Stephanie Medina! I am the owner and one of the teachers at Little Treasures. Teaching is my passion and what I have always strived to do while growing up. Through hard work and dedication, I have created Little Treasures, so that children can love learning and grow in a safe, nurturing environment. My entire life, I have watched my aunt and grandmother go above and beyond for their students as educators in their own classrooms. It is my dream, to help all of my students reach their full potential and dream big in life. Everyone deserves to have the opportunity to learn new things and enjoy life.
The students here will learn to love, respect and treat everyone around them with kindness and acceptance. I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I taught Kindergarten, preschool and 4th grade for 9 years prior to opening Little Treasures. I am also a mother and understand how important your little one is to you. I will always encourage, teach and provide children with the opportunity to be the best they can be. I am genuinely excited to be teaching your child this year and can’t wait to get to know you as well. I enjoy traveling the world, ballroom/Latin dancing, crafts and spending time with my family.

Our Directors
Maria CuthrellMy name is Maria and I earned my bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science at Grand Valley State University with a minor in Biology. After I graduated I traveled to different parts of the world such as Japan, France, The Netherlands, Germany, Italy and Austria. Traveling taught me many different things and made me appreciate how beautiful our planet really is. Recently I worked at the University of Michigan as a Trauma Spine sales rep specialist helping people, young and old, live normal lives again. When I found out I had my own little treasure on the way, I decided to pursue working with kids and share my love of teaching and learning with young minds at Little Treasures as a teacher. I consider myself very blessed for the life I have with my family and I absolutely love all of the little treasures that walk through our door.

Jennice CabanHi, my name is Jennice, I have always loved spending time with children because of their huge imagination and goofy point of view of the world. It is so fun to listen to their stories that are out of this world. I am also a student, and one of my passions is studying medicine in the hopes that in the future I can help people as much as I possibly can.
